Curly Hair Artistry May updates
Good day everyone.
I ask all of my clients, "How is your year flying by"? and they all say, "Yes, it is FLYING by." With all of what life is offering to us my hope is that you are taking care of yourself in some way.
I have picked up art that I put on the shelf of life long ago and I enjoy abstract ways of looking at scenery, words I read or expressing something that my soul wants to put on paper. When you first look at it it may not have any meaning or sense to you but when I tell you the story behind it all of a sudden makes sense and you 'can see it'.
Here is a sunset along the North Carolina coastline with the reflections of the sun in the wet sand that the ocean water goes up to - it is from my imagination of what I saw and when I look at it it has more memory associated to it than a photo. I use water soluble oil that is easy to clean up. 
What are you doing to help keep your sanity lately? I also get out in nature, meet up with small groups of people or one on one for meaningful conversations and also do body weight calisthenics and rucking. Do you do any art - let me know with a reply back of your Instagram or a photo of what you do as I love to support any curly artists!
Speaking of small groups of people - we are hosting a pop-up one day training in Dallas HQ of MopTop for hairstylists on May 18 and this is a perfect way to get hands on training with myself (Scott Musgrave) and Kelly Forman (founder of MopTop) to learn curly hair cutting, product application and how to raise your prices to make this a great career - as we need more stylists to specialize in working with curly hair.
