I wanted to share a bit of the process that goes into helping others to succeed.
Many Hairstylist and clients (I have had thousands of conversations with my clients about this) start out doing their regular trade and learn their craft and get stagnant, bored and find that what they are doing is just not working.
From here - they quite, get burnt out and are overwhelmed or bored. Trade shows and local trainings are not enough.
I get many calls from clients and hairstylists wondering how to expand what they do, raise their prices...

I have daily conversations with clients, friends, people in and out of my industry, mastermind groups and online communities that reveal unique things to me - we truly are what we think we are AND we are who we hang out with.
Reading Think and Grow Rich for the umpteenth time - is a book that I gain new insights from EVERY TIME I read it - as I mature I go deeper in learning - and the book makes sense to me only as I grow into utilizing the principles.
We learn the most only from those that implement what they learn. I hang out with readers who do nothing with what they learn. I am around people that invest thousands of dollars into an online course and they even travel to a training and have no implementation of what they invested in (and they wonder why they stay stuck).
If you invest in our training - I expect you to implement. If you dont, there is a reason why.
Frustration and fear.
Once we realize these obstacles we break down...
One thing I have noticed in our industry that is different and determines the success of your business is not being considered much and that is the power and voice of your client.
For people with wavy/curly hair - the 'consumer' - the 'client' - is over-riding our industry with knowing how to work with their hair. Yup - read that one again.
There are so many communities, website forums, Facebook groups/pages, Instagram influencers and local meet ups that have been created and perfected based on one thing: LACK OF SERVICE & HELP FOR WHAT THEY DESIRE.
Lack of service to help and serve them has driven the desire for help and shifted this from hairstylist/salon to EACH OTHER.
Let me explain a bit - I noticed that I was learning EVERYDAY a lot of great tips from my clients that sat in my chair. I noticed that other stylists - that did this as well - had a deep passion for serving and assisting others that was different than brand based knowledge or from the...
