Hairstylists are in a huge industry to choose what to do that have so many paths of opportunity to pursue. We have options of working in a team based salon, on our own as a booth renter, as an educator or pursue a path in the fashion or entertainment world working on all types of hair.
If you were to look at our industry as a whole - its global. This is HUGE. When you start to see the small areas that you can specialize in - and most are NOT seen or heard about as these niches are not found or headlining at Trade Shows. They are not discussed in Cosmetology school. You have to almost ‘accidentally’ find them and once you do you kick yourself for not finding it sooner.
But there is such a thing as Perfect Timing.
If you are reading this now - I bet you are sensing this as anticipation stirring for helping you out of boredom, stagnation and even financial debt (as these were mine back in the day).

Good day everyone!
Working with people day in and day out we discover many fascinating things that people are doing in their profession. Their passion for what they do is contagious and exciting!
When you start hearing stories of how people are transformed by what they are doing - it is something we want to share with the world of how they are contributing to making a difference in their region of the globe.
First mention is Colie Taico (click name for info). She is a therapist and specializes in a couple of areas including helping women heal their relationship with food.
If you are in Cultivate Your Curls she is in the section of how to get multiple day hair (of which has helped many people to relearn how to work with day 2-3-4 hair).
Colie works with clients one on one and is taking her years of experience and is creating an online course that will reach others that can not sit with her privately. Sign up HERE to get on her list.
She is also on...
Welcome to another update with Curly Hair Artistry,
We are so excited returning back from the recent 2019 Spring Symposium - check out this group photo:
I am always humbled that hairstylists sacrifice their time, energy and finances to attend a Curly Hair Artistry (CHA) Live Training.
A young lady from Brazil - near the Amazon, a stylist from Ireland, a young man from UK and stylists from around the USA including Texas, Portland Oregon and more....all to advance their level of understanding in building their own brand as a curly hair specialist.
The next training is in Maine - with information here as we still have a few spots open - click HERE.
Another observation is meeting those of you who attend our trainings as a model for us to work on who are also in Cultivate Your Curls with The MAP Method and word is getting out of how you are able to show up at CHA based salon with your hair set with MAP and just get a cut only as your styling is spot on and just need...
Your salon gets a call asking, "Do you work with curly hair?" and you say, "Sure - we all work with curly hair." and she books an appointment in 23 seconds.
The client shows up and there seems to have an 'energy' to starting out that 'just doesnt seem right' and the salon/stylist works with the hair from a 'fix' it training - using a comb, cutting hair technically correct and using tools to smooth out the frizz and leave with hair 'fixed' and retail is recommended to keep the hair straight and smooth to not be frizzy or in a triangle.
This is what happened to my client Kim - who is featured in the pdf of this online course I have about working with curly hair - to help our clients embrace their hair and to not fix it.
This is her hair from years of hair stylist helping her and recommending products to her hair:
Using a flat iron to reduce frizz MELTS products into her hair producing a coating of repelling water and preventing hydration of conditioners to melt...

Some stylists are not interested in having 100% curly cliental - but they desire a goal of learning a foundational system for working with their curly clients to be able to provide a service for them. Curly Hair Artistry has training, coaching and mentoring for helping you achieve this goal.
The 'curly world' is all over social media and is the fastest way to increase your business - and you can be apart of leading the way with your service and increase your income & retail sales as a part of...
