Good day CurlFriends!
July is here and where I am from in the Raleigh NC area it is hot and humid.
Amazon Prime Days are here and there are some amazing sales going on and I want to help you out with ideas to consider.
One of the goals of Curly Hair Artistry (CHA) is not to be just all about your hair but to incorporate a healthy lifestyle as well. Many of my in studio clients AND those of you around the globe learn to take care of your hair and it drips down to other areas of your life with one being your health.
1- First off is lets get the hair out of the way - Amazon Prime has its big sale going on and I wrote a blog of recommended products that will help you with what I believe are the best products to get started with and if you need a recommendation for something new you want to try - it is HERE (click blue letters and a new window will open up). Feel free to share that blog and send to a loved one with wavy/curly hair. Many of you get genuine compliments on your hair and get asked about what products you use and how - well, send them this link or AIRDROP it to them.
2- Years ago I hurt my shoulder and could not twist it well, lift it and it affected my sleep. One of my sons (we have twins that are 24 now) recommended a set of bands to rehab it and I got these bands HERE and wow...over time it helped heal up with issues and I was about to even check in with getting surgery and to this day I use them.
3- Those bands put me on a journey to workout at home and a TRX (CLICK HERE) was delivered to my home and I fell in love with how easy it is for hooking it up to my door or going for a hike and throwing it around a tree branch and I have even seen moms at playgrounds hook it up to workout while watching the kids on the playground.
4- I finally found a great water bottle that does not leak or have any of the concerns of plastic entering into the water - click HERE. I travel with it empty and fill it up as I go and it fits into my Go Ruck Back Pack that I workout with. I ruck about 4 times a week on trails and the surrounding neighborhood- I hate to walk and jog but I will throw on my Ruck with a weight plate inside and you burn up to 3 times the calories on a ruck compared to walking! There are active Facebook groups in your area I am sure - and I have a few friends that got one and we meet up often to ruck together.
Finally - the upcoming live Maine Training has a handful of spots open and travel prices are great right now. The feedback on previous trainings are STILL coming in with stylists generating more sales with their retail and getting new clients in that want a service experience that only CHA teaches you in how to go through a variety of service experiences that you can offer to your clients...they love it!
Have a happy and healthy month of July and YES....you CAN have amazing hair in the swampy humidity (just increase your Hydration, Filler and Sealer).
For now,

ps....the whole family went to Missouri in Hannibal - where Mark Twain grew up and his house is still there! They have an annual home town Mark Twain Days celebration and it's always hot and humid along the Mississippi River but it is a great time to make new memories with family each time.
Here we are in front of Mark Twains house - my sons girlfriend got caught trying to remove my sons hat for the photoπ
Flying into St. Louis we always stop at the Arch and there is a ride that goes up to the top and has windows to look out and see downtown- it's a magical experience and architectural wonder!
Finally - Something I have never seen anywhere else is a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and it's huge and always sticks out from the bun put on top - it's a thing to get when you are in the area.
